Beirut – “A Candle’s Fire”

Some new music for your holiday weekend: I just listened through The Rip Tide, the third LP by Zach Condon and his jolly troupe of baroque noisemakers. And it’s safe to say fans of his first two albums will not be disappointed. This one’s a keeper. I didn’t realize how much I missed this guy’s music! Here’s the leadoff track from the album.

Enjoy the tune, and the rest of your weekend. I think I’m gonna throw together an America mixtape and post it tomorrow, so check back in for that.
